Mobilizing Team (MT)

Mobilizing Teams (MT) are formed within a church, organization, or group to train its members to be witnesses. The host entity assigns 3 to 5 members to the MT, which serves in the best interests of the entity’s evangelistic efforts. Their main objective is to create Witnessing Teams (WT) using the app to equip the members to build witnessing relationships.

Roles of MT

1. MT Leader

The leader builds and leads the MT. They ensure that the team meets regularly and collaborates effectively. The leader keeps the entity updated on progress.

2. MT Members

The MT may have three or more members who are from within the same entity. The members are to assist the MT Leader in sharing the responsibilities.

The Responsibilities of MT

The MT meets regularly to pray, plan, and work together to fulfill the following responsibilities.

Create awareness among the members about the need for witnessing.
Identify potential leaders to start Witnessing Teams (WT).
Monitor the progress and provide the support needed so the WT leaders keep their team members consistent in their witnessing relationships.
When people believe in Jesus Christ and come to church, ensure that they are welcomed and feel at home.

As an MT, you may meet twice a month or as frequently as needed. The meeting may be face-to-face or online. Participation in meetings and related responsibilities will typically take about two to three hours a month.
